Vamos Cuba – The Cuban Extravaganza is back at The Peacock Theatre! 24th October – 11th November 2017

I have to admit this show looks like so much fun. It premiered last year at Sadlers Wells and now returns to London to brighten up our dark and cold winter days, just looking at the photographs are adding some much needed colour into my day 🙂
The show is set in the busy Havana Airport and the dance styles are a cultural mix of Reggaeton, Salsa, Rumba and Cha-cha-cha.

Choreography is by the legendary, Nilda Guerra, the choreographer for the smash hit show, Havan Rakatan, seen by more than 200,000 people from London, Tokyo and Sydney to name a few places.
There is a live band, led by the Grammy Award winner, Rodney Barreto.

Listen to what Katy Anarder, Director of Artistic Programming at Sadlers Wells had to say about the show…
I don’t know about you, but this show looks like the perfect cure for my lack of sunshine in these next few months.
Take a look at the trailer here…
I love the costumes, the music is fun and the choreography looks amazing, complete with some tricks and stunts, as well as partner work.
Can’t wait to see this! 😉
